I had never really understood how to teach my kids to manage their money before. Truthfully I have only one kid so far, but I know that there will be more on the way in short order. The Elevation Group with Mike Dillard has shown me that I can teach my kids to understand how to grow wealth the right way.

We have all seen those awful people that inherited a fortune. It’s not difficult to be shocked by these kids, and I’m sure their parents never wanted to see their hard-earned fortunes destroyed by spoiled kids. The money that was given to them slips away so easily because they have never been forced to learn the value of the work involved in wealth creation.

There are literally thousands upon thousands of examples of wasted and squandered fortunes, gone in a few years. It is the same thing that happens to Lottery winners. Everybody believe that they will be immune to the same temptations, but history repeats itself in these matters over and over.

Why is this?

Money management is a complete mystery to them, and the concept of growing wealth over a length of time is totally foreign.

Mike Dillard and The Elevation Group bring out some interesting points that I had never though about. It feels good to know that responsible wealth management will be taught to my children at a young age. At the same time their kids will also be taught the same wealth management skills that I have taught them. Just a good deal.
