The Evolution of Classic Gamepads

13th January 2012 Art 0 Comments

Classic gamepads are a thing of beauty. Rarely will consumers see classic gamepads such as the Binatone TV Master MK IV, Commodore 3000H TV Game, and Atari 2600 Joystick anymore. There even used to be foot-operated joysticks back in the day. The QJ Footpedal System was manufactured for Atari video game consoles exclusively and can even be set-up for driving and racing games. Nintendo basically revolutionized gamepads with its release of the Nintendo Entertainment System Joypad as it was one, if not the first, gamepad that featured start buttons and fire buttons. Today, seventh-generation video game consoles come with gamepads for the ultimate in gaming experience.
