If you’re looking for cheap air fare deals to Asia then you might want to think again. The Euro, pound sterling, and the US dollar are all very weak whereas the Asian currencies, especially those countries in South East Asia, are currently very strong. What this means is that even if you manage to find some cheap air tickets to say Thailand, once you get there, you really won’t get much bang for your buck.

Cheap flights come and go, but airline tickets are only half the story. If you can’t afford to let your hair down once you reach your destination, then the savings made on cheap flights has been somewhat fruitless.

What about the Package Deals

If you are happy to stay in one resort, within reason, and use its beach, eat in its restaurants, and drink in its bars as an all inclusive holiday, then yes, if you get cheap air fares, accommodation, and meals thrown in to boot, then perhaps a trip to Asia is still worth it, but the reality is that once most people arrive at their destination, it’s only a couple of days or so when they want to leave the resort and go exploring/
